Porcelain & Ceramic Tile
Porcelain flooring tiles are moisture resistant, long lasting, and environmentally friendlier to
manufacture than other flooring options. It is a newer form of ceramic tile and is becoming extremely popular among homeowners.
The tiles are composed of fine porcelain clays which are fired at much higher temperatures than ceramic tiles. This process makes porcelain tile more dense, less porous, much harder and less prone to moisture and stain absorption than ceramic tiles. For these reasons, most porcelain tiles are suitable for indoor installations.
Another form of Porcelain tiles are Glazed Porcelain tiles (a glazing top of tile surface) which are glazed to prevent scratches or dings and has better slip-resistance. Whichever form you choose, both will make your home decor a snazzy choice.
Ceramic tiles are moisture-resistant, long lasting, and environmentally friendly. WE Floors carries an assorted amount of Green Ceramic tiles and are carefully installed by our qualified Green installers. Since many sealers can release harmful VOC's into indoor spaces after being applied, we use sealers that contain low toxicity levels. |
